I was just at JoyRide 150 riding with matt on march break, i was stunned to see him riding, and now hes killin it in europe, soo cool. 
ummm probably put 1500 to 2000 into it?
i know its high, but its worth it, the bike is brand new and i dont want to lose a ton of money on it. 
my friend and his dad have a bunch of marins (downhill, road and everything in-between), and one with a very similar build to mine, and i rode it before i purchased this one.
the pedals are absolutely amazing, i compliments from everyone on them and ive never had a better pair. 
if you have a MTB crank you should have some, but i will include some if you need them :)
right around 24 lbs. there is a decimal but i weighed it in the summer and cant remember aha
